GDP per capita, PPP

GDP per person in PPP. Poland’s gap to DE/US is smaller here than in dollars.

current US$

The file

GDP per person in purchasing-power parity, current international dollars, from 1990.

The indicator

NY.GDP.PCAP.PP.CD strips out price-level gaps. It does not replace market-dollar GDP per capita — two sentences about the same year.

What the numbers show

Poland ~$6k → ~$54k PPP; Germany ~$75k; US ~$90k. The gap is smaller in PPP than in raw dollars. Pace: GDP growth.
